A.o.K Award

President Rod Price will be recognizing random Acts of Kindness throughout the Rotary year.
Nomination from PJ Watters-Hawley:  I heard Maggie, say Yes today (1/25/24), for the millionth time and was inspired to nominate her for an A ok award. Maggie consistently says, "Yes, I can do that." And then...she actually does whatever she committed to do.
Showing up is 90%, right? What is the other 10%? Watch Maggie and you'll see. It goes beyond the willingness to volunteer and step up -- it's the quality and (Rotary) spirit she brings to everything she does.

Maggie, can you facilitate the Zoomies so everyone feels welcome and gets engaged? "Absolutely."
Maggie, can you lead the invocation? "Certainly."

Maggie, can you help at the vaccination clinic on Saturday? "Of course."

Maggie, can you knit a million and five wool caps for the needy? "You bet. How soon do you need them?"
Maggie, can you serve as Club President - in fact, as the second woman president of Club 21? ...how about Assistant District Governor? ...or Dog catcher? "You bet! Whatever the club needs."

After 20 years of selfless service, the Club recognized you with the Fred K Jones Award in 2011-2012, but that was 12 years ago. It's time to give you another shout out!
Have you seen an Act of Kindness that deserves to be highlighted?
