“Learn Something New Every Day” was the slogan/mantra/mission of my more former PBS station, Alabama Public Television.
I’ve tried to live up to that as I go about my life…and nowhere is that more fitting than our weekly meetings.
My own personal Program version of the 4-way test is as follows –
- Was it interesting?
- Were others interested?
- Despite your personal preferences, was the speaker/topic worthwhile?
- Did it make you want to find out more about the Speaker/topic?
And this is why I like our member profile meetings…and the interesting things we find out in them.
Distilleries as a sidelight? How to find a Monkey Suit? And the challenges for Women in engineering? If you missed this last meeting, you missed a lot. But if you did, the meetings are available on the Rotary 21 Facebook Group - simply

Our members are some of our best programs…and we’re glad to have them as part of our club.
And next week’s program is another not to miss. After recent visits by the District Governor-Elect, the Rotary District 5080 Governor Tim Fredrickson will be our featured speaker. He is a veteran, a Rotary veteran of more than 35 years, and we look forward to hearing his vision for our District.
Looking forward to seeing Tim – and all of you – at the Thursday meeting.
