RCS March Madness

The Support Our Vets Committee had the “steal of a deal” of the Rotary 21 March Madness Auction when they acquired all the #8 seeds for only $10. However, as March Madness would have it they only went 1 out of 4 for wins. The bright side is that they actually more than doubled their initial investment and won $21 with that one #8 seed win!

Vocational Services look like the “Wizards of March” with their #11 seeds going 3 out of 4 wins in the first round!

International Service Committee (Arizona) and Support Our Vets Committee (Gonzaga) are both riding high early with GU Legends Mark Few and Tommy Lloyd leading their Wildcats and Bulldogs to the Sweet 16!

And finally, in what local & national experts and analysts are dubbing “The Troyke Thumping” …our lovable (loser) Dave Troyke and the Community Impact Committee went 0 for 2 on their 3 & 4 seeds (Kentucky & Auburn) and is now out of the rest of the Rotary 21 March Madness Auction and sadly is leaving empty handed with $0 and no remaining teams in contention. On the bright side, the 6 other committees will enjoy the spoils of the CIC’s $300 contribution to the overall pot of payouts!
