The Youth Services Committee is looking for 10-12 volunteers to help with the Generation Alive "Big Build" meal-packing initiative.
Date: Tuesday, December 3, 2024
Time: 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
Location: Bank of America Building
If you would like to participate in this event, contact Club 21 member Joe Bruce atcolumbiacycle@gmail.comto confirm how many people will be attending with you. Children as young as 2nd grade can participate.
This meal-packing initiative brings together teams to assemble 50,000 meals for local families experiencing food insecurity. The event provides a meaningful, hands-on opportunity to make a tangible difference in our community while fostering teamwork and connection. Each production line offers a high-energy, impactful experience for those involved.
By participating, Rotary Club 21 members will play a dual role: helping address an urgent community need while also supporting the next generation of compassionate leaders who are working to make a lasting difference. Your partnership in this event will help ensure its success and the ongoing impact of Generation Alive's programs.
Rotary Club 21’s Youth Services Committee recently gave Generation Alive $1,200 for this event. The food packing event is a great way to see your RCS dollars at work by touching the lives of children.
