What’s your favorite season of the year?
Christine: Oh, I love the Fall.
Dennis: I’m a Spring guy.
Where did you grow up, and how long have you lived in Spokane?
Dennis: My great-grandparents got to Spokane in 1883. I’ve been here for 77 years.
Christine: I was born in California, but very quickly, my family moved back up to Spokane. I’ve been here since, I think, 1980.
If you had an extra hour every day, how would you use it?
Christine: I’d watch more baseball.
Dennis: I’d probably find a piece of silver to polish.
What’s something on your bucket list?
Dennis: I’d like to go back to England. (Julie adds, Would you be willing to have company come with you?) The gentleman that I’ve traveled the world with will probably be going along.
Christine: I’ll stick with travel. I’d love to go to Cambodia or Vietnam.
How many years have you been a Club 21 member, and what is your favorite thing about Rotary?
Christine: I think five years, four or five years. And my favorite thing is being able to come and connect each week, it’s been a little while since I’ve been back, but connect with people who I typically don’t get to see in my daily life. So, thank you for that.
Dennis: Because I’m sort of old, I’ve been here 23 years and I just enjoy the camaraderie and the lunch. And now that we have a decent chef back, it’s much better.
