Note from
President Stokes
As we prepare for the imminent arrival of Spring, and all that entails,
perhaps this is a good time to reflect on the work we’ve done and the good we’ve done this
Rotary year thus far. Many of our accomplishments have been highlighted
in this column by several Committee Chairs. In the last 9 months, we’ve been able to impact the
lives of so many in our Community of Rotary through our time, our talents, and our treasure.
For example, we’ve distributed food to those who need it, helped fund a water project
overseas, added members, and learned the ins and outs (and challenges) of Zoom meetings.
Our Support our Veterans Committee continues to help & honor those who served for us, and we
learned more about the people, places, and issues that affect all of the communities we
serve. In a year where many organizations have struggled, Rotary 21 has thrived.
Day in and day out, our members find ways to exhibit service before self
and a commitment to the Four-Way Test. Thank you for all
you’ve done and all you continue to do…
(And if you’re eagle-eyed, you may have noticed a special message about an upcoming “holiday”. Check out the first letters in bold in the lines above.)
