A.o.K. Award

Last week President Rod Price awarded Rotarian PJ Watters-Hawley with an Act of Kindness award. Here is what her nominator, Molly Pepper, had to say:

During President Higgins' “Rotarian of the Week” series, my introduction included information about my efforts to write a novel. Afterward, PJ Waters reached out to me to share her story of becoming a novelist. She took the time to set up a meeting for us before a Rotary luncheon. She shared how her writing journey began and evolved. She gave me some great tips about how to approach the craft. Most of all, she gave me the confidence to continue to pursue my dream. I feel that PJ is rooting for me and when I need help, she is someone to whom I can ask my writing questions. She went above and beyond to reach out and help other Rotarian pursue their dream.
