Notes from
President Paul

Greetings My Rotary Family!
We successfully completed our Rotary Community Service (RCS) Campaign and surpassed our goal of $125,000.  I am so humbled to see the generosity of my fellow Rotarians.  Together, we are impacting the lives of so many in our community and the world.  Thanks to Larry Coulson for the inspiring “final push” matching gift during our meeting on January 16.  Getting the job done!
A reminder that we are approaching the February Rotary Membership Drive starting on February 6th.  Invite a friend and colleague to visit the Club during the month of February.
All guests on February 6th will have their lunch purchased by the Membership Development Committee!
All guests in attendance on February 6th can enter their business card in a drawing to win two tickets to the men's Gonzaga Basketball game happening on February 20th! Seats are on the second row, on the baseline near the visitor's bench!
Share your love of Rotary and RSVP your guest with the Rotary office by February 3rd.
My Rotary Club in action!

Quote of the Week

“I’ve specifically concentrated on not concentrating on this, and up until this point, I’ve done a really good job.”
Former WSU Head Football Coach, Mike Leach

Paul Harris Fellow

Last week Club 21 celebrated as Kevin Berkompas received his 4th Paul Harris Fellow!
Kevin is inspired to give to Rotary International to help contribute to Rotary's quest to save millions of children from the debilitating effects of polio. Not only has Rotary International provided resources, but they have also provided organization and leadership to implement a coherent, systematic plan of partnerships with the World Health Organization, the Gates Foundation and others that have succeeded in bringing us "this close" to eliminating this devastating disease.
 Congratulations to Kevin on his
4th Paul Harris Fellow!
