11/13/25 Rotary Off the Cuff: Debbie Rauen & Borre Ulrichsen

On an airplane – window seat or aisle seat?
Debbie: Aisle
Borre: Window

What’s your favorite way to relax?
Borre: I love cross-country skiing.
Debbie: Hiking in the national parks.

If you could be any age for a week, what age would you be?
Debbie: Eight – I had a blast!
Borre: I think the age I am right now, 63.

What is something you are grateful for today?
Borre: I am grateful for the fact that I could drive here. I used to take the bus, but it’s going to be raining today, so I have my car and I’ll stay nice and dry and warm.
Debbie: My grandkids.

How many years have you been a Rotary member, and what makes Club 21 special?
Debbie: I’ve been a Rotarian for 33 years, and it’s wonderful to have so many people around you all the time who care about others and work to help others. I’ve made some great friendships and helped out in the world.
Borre: It’s coming up on 9 years, and I go back to the 4-Way Test, and I really like the one about Friendship. So, all the friends I have in this room, I’m really grateful for.
