From President Price

Over the last several weeks, Our Budget Committee has been preparing to recommend a new budget for the upcoming year. This will be presented to club members at the beginning of our fiscal year in July.

Club 21 has not increased its dues in several years. The pandemic and declining membership led our board to hold off on any increases until absolutely needed. As our club is regaining its strength and our expenses have climbed, we find it necessary to implement a slight increase in dues.

Dues Increase Proposal
At their last meeting, the Club 21 Board voted to propose a small increase in dues for the upcoming year, primarily to cover the increase in dues we owe to Rotary International. The proposed new dues, effective July 1, 2024, are:
  • $480 for Regular Rotary members (an increase of $5)
  • $305 for Emerging Rotarians (Increase of $5)
  • $510 for Emerging Couples (Increase of $10)
  • $610 for Couples Membership (an increase of $10)
  • $1025 for Corporate Membership (an increase of $25)
We understand that the economy continues to provide challenges for many. That's why we've opted for small, incremental increases over the next few years, aiming to ease the burden on our members while still ensuring that our club can continue its important work.

Your Feedback is Important
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to any of our Rotary 21 Board members. We will carefully consider all member feedback at our May 22nd Board Meeting.

Club-Wide Vote
A club-wide voice vote on this proposal will be held during the Rotary meeting on May 23rd.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Together, we are making a difference in our community and literally around the globe.
