“F” – Fall in love with Rotary
Fall is a great season for falling in love. Heck, any time of year is good for falling in love, but since “fall” starts with the letter “f” I’m making it my Rotary “F” word of the week!
Every fall season I fall in love with WSU Cougar football! And I have no problem letting everyone know, win or lose, I love my Cougs! I’ll never forget the fall of 2006 because that’s the first fall season I got to share my love of all things WSU football with the girl who would eventually become my wife.
I remember when I fell in love with Jennifer I couldn’t wait to have everyone meet her! That’s the thing about falling in love, whether it’s a person or a thing when you’re in love you can’t help but want to let everyone know!
This leads me to our Rotary Club 21 Fall Membership drive theme, “Fall in love with Rotary!” Our fall membership drive goes from September 16th to October 12th. If you truly love Rotary, as I do, don’t be afraid to tell people about us and invite them to a meeting!
As an extra incentive to share why you love Rotary and invite potential future members to our meetings, our Membership Development Committee will be holding a raffle for club members who bring guests or propose a member during our fall campaign:
- Any Rotarian that hosts a guest will be entered to win a $100 gift card.
- Any Rotarian who sponsors a new member’s application will be entered to win a $200 gift card!
But how do you get a guest to become a new member you might ask?! Let me tell you in three easy steps!
- Invite a guest to a meeting! Email the Rotary office to notify us you'll have a guest to introduce at an upcoming meeting and show them what Rotary is all about!
- If they show interest in joining, help them apply! Click here to be directed to our website where you will find the new member application on the left-hand side of the page.
- Help them submit their application before October 14th for a chance to win the above-mentioned prizes!
Maintain and growing our membership is a key part of the success of our club! And it also helps in our ability to make a significant impact in our community and world!
So remember, “F” is for “Fall in love with Rotary!” Because when you’re truly in love, you can’t help but want to tell everyone about it!
