Thank you to Rick Voit for organizing the mural cleanup team in partnership with Shelby Allison at Spokane Arts and the rest of the crew: Nadine Burgess, Shanna Cejka, Maggie Crawford, Karen Mobley, Tim Sweet, Dave Troyke, and Doug Daehlin. They were also joined by Spokane Arts Commissioner Suzanne Ostersmith and local artist Mark Moore.
Rick Voit thanked the project team for "Charging up my Rotary batteries!" The team's 2 hours of service were: Fun, Well Organized, Impactful, Strategic (thank you, Karen, for the Arts connection!).

Mimi: Jiu Jitsu and Bee Keeping.
Steve: Practicing being retired.

Steve: I really enjoyed philosophy and all the old books.

What’s your favorite thing about Rotary?
Mimi: Being involved in the community outside of yoga, having a different identity outside of my business, and meeting other people that I can look up to in this community.
Steve: Discovering all the history that had been preserved, which is now at the Museum of Arts & Culture at the Joel Ferris Research Library. And learning all the good that Rotary has done over the years, including being there at the start of the United Nations, and a lot of things you might not know about.

Mark: Explain the Club and the International part.
Beverly: You can be part of an organization where you get to not only meet incredible people, but you get to choose where you want your impact to be.
