Honor Flight needs guardians to chaperone the Veterans on these flights, and Spokane 21 members are welcome to apply as chaperones for this flight.  If you are interested in being a guardian, you can apply via the following link.

4/2/26 Rotary Off the Cuff: Heather Bopp & Brian Behler

When a movie is based on a book, would you rather read the book and then watch the movie or watch the movie and then read the book?

Heather: Book then movie.

Brian: Book then movie.

Have you ever traveled by train? If so, where?

Brian: I have traveled by train. My first ski trip was from Seattle to Whitefish, Montana.

Heather: I took the “Thomas Train” experience from the Dalles, Oregon, 10 minutes down and then back with my kids.

Where is your favorite place to visit in the state of Washington?

Heather: I love the San Juans.

Brian: The Puget Sound.

What’s something on your bucket list?

Brian: Another sailing trip.

Heather: I haven’t been to Europe. I’d love to go to Europe.

When did you join Rotary, and if you met someone this afternoon who didn’t know about Rotary, what would you want to tell them about it?

Heather: I just joined. This is my first day with a pin (badge). I would tell them it’s a room full of lovely people who are easy to connect with.

Brian: (Joined in 2012) I would probably tell them that if they’re looking for structure on how to get through the craziness of our current world, look at Rotary and our Four Way Test and align yourself with a bunch of similarly thoughtful people.
