Youth Exchange

Theo, our incoming exchange student from Sweden, arrives on August 17 and will be with us until around the end of June 2016.  We have a first host family, but need a second host family in the Ferris High School catchment area.  The second host family would host from the end of January to June 2026.  If your family is interested in hosting or knows of someone who may be willing to host, please contact Jim Johnson at 509-991-6611 kjrjjj@comcast.net.

Art Social

Karen Mobley will host a morning in her studio at her home on the South Hill on Saturday, November 15, from 10 to noon. 3515 S Lee Street. Easy art projects will be set up in stations around the studio for hands-on activities for kids of all ages. That means you!  Come decorate a treasure box, make a holiday ornament or make a collage, or make a painting.  All materials will be provided.  Bring your child, your grandkid, or just bring yourself. It is free and just for fun.  Karen would like to know if you plan to attend, so she can set up enough chairs.
