Notes from
President Paul

Greetings My Rotary Family!

Memorial Day is a special time of year for our Nation.  This wonderful annual tradition began at the end of the Civil War in 1868. It's a moment in May when we take time to honor and celebrate the lives of brave Americans who died in service to our country, men and women who sacrificed their own lives to protect each and every one of us and the liberties we've come to enjoy.

I am certain that for every one of our Rotary members there is a family member or close friend, recent or in the past, that made this ultimate sacrifice of service to their country. Bring these names to the forefront of your mind and offer a prayer of gratitude and thanksgiving.

Let us take pause today to remember these fallen soldiers.  We should stand strong in our resolve to honor their memory in our service to others each day.

Enjoy time with your family during these long spring days, and stay well.

                      Stay healthy and safe!

Quote of the Week

“I believe our flag is more than just cloth and ink. It is a universally recognized symbol that stands for liberty, and freedom. It is the history of our nation, and it’s marked by the blood of those who died defending it.”
