11/06/25 Rotary Off the Cuff: Stefanie Page & Clark Brekke

Game night or movie night?
Stefanie: Game night
Clark: Movie night

Would you rather drive or be the passenger?
Clark: Drive
Stefanie: Drive, I like control.

What’s one word your friends would use to describe you?
Stefanie: Controlling is probably not the right word…pause…let’s go with controlling.
Clark: I’ve heard unflappable a lot.

Name someone who inspires you.
Clark: Oh my goodness. Wow! I’m going to say Mother Teresa.
Stefanie: Gosh, I first thought of my grandma. She immigrated from Germany, came over to America, learned English, was an amazing mom and grandma. Now she has Alzheimer’s and still taking it in stride, so she’s an inspiration.

How many years have you been a Rotary member, and what makes Club 21 special?
Stefanie: 9 years. Our members, the Magic of Rotary, are in the room right here.
Clark: 23 years. Yes, everybody in this room and everybody’s heart leaning into community through Rotary and through RCS, and the great things we do together every day, so thank you, everybody.

Art Social

Karen Mobley will host a morning in her studio at her home on the South Hill on Saturday, November 15, from 10 to noon. 3515 S Lee Street. Easy art projects will be set up in stations around the studio for hands-on activities for kids of all ages. That means you!  Come decorate a treasure box, make a holiday ornament or make a collage, or make a painting.  All materials will be provided.  Bring your child, your grandkid, or just bring yourself. It is free and just for fun.  Karen would like to know if you plan to attend, so she can set up enough chairs.
