2T, 1L
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Jenna/Gary shorthand, this does not mean 2 liters, 1 teaspoon (but it could.) In this case, it stands for Rotary 21’s newest interactive Game Show – 2 Truths and a Lie.
If you missed the meeting two weeks ago, come on down and find out more about it. The object of the game is simple – one (or more) of our members hide one lie about themselves in with two truths. The members vote electronically on the one false statement. Once those votes are tallied, quicker than you can say "Big bucks, No whammies", voting on the survey will show the crowd choice, and the subject gets to tell us if we guessed correctly.
The best part, at least whilst we’re still toiling in Zoom-landia, is we get to find out more about members of our club, and it makes for a great conversation starter next time we see him or her.
Since I got to channel my inner game show host (thank you, Bob Barker, Gene Rayburn, Art Fleming, and Allen Ludden,) I thought I’d give Jenna a chance to play the game, with all of you as the brilliant studio audience celebrity guessers.
So, as Jim Lange would have said ---Heeeeeere they are…
Statement 1 - Jenna has received a paycheck from Disney
Statement 2 - Jenna has never ridden a roller coaster as an adult
Statement 3 – Jenna once won MVP blocker in a roller derby game.
So there you are…and in true game show fashion, we’re out of time for this week’s quiz.
Please make sure you attend this week’s meeting, so you can vote on your choice and find out the lie among the truths. May the Rotary Wheel of Fortune smile upon you.
