Welcome Home Veterans

The Veterans Committee would like to invite club members to welcome home the Veterans returning at the Spokane Airport main ticketing area.  The welcome home parade is one of the most meaningful parts of the trip, especially for our Vietnam vets.  This is the homecoming they did not get 50+ years ago.

When: October 14th

Where: Spokane Airport main ticketing area.

Target arrival time is 7:30 pm.

Rotary Talent Show

What's your talent?  Plan ahead to sing, read your poems, dance, or create a short stand-up set or something fun for our upcoming talent show.  Be sure to check in with Mark Barnes @ natfurnman@gmail.com for this and make sure we know what you need.  We're also looking for a sound person and a grip.  This is going to be fun!

Thank you to those who participated in the Committee Chair training.  There is one more this week!  If you need help with ClubRunner, make sure to reach out to Tammy.  Your committee chairs will be sending out the Conflict of Interest form, too.  Please return these.

And thank you to everyone for working hard and making it fun!

Fire Disaster Recovery - Call for Volunteers

Rotary's partner, Disaster Aid USA, is deploying volunteers to support the Spokane community impacted by wildfires.

Your time, skills, and compassion can make a real difference when it matters most. We're looking for volunteers to help sift ashes, sort debris, and perform general property clean-up.

To sign up, please email Julie Kelsey at julie@juliekelsey.com to be added to the volunteer list for future opportunities. We are only just beginning this important recovery work.
Together, we will Create Lasting Impact.

Spokane County Wildfire Fund

Spokane County wildfires have devastated our community, destroying hundreds of homes and forcing tens of thousands of our neighbors to evacuate. The Spokane County Wildfire Fund, administered by Rotary Community Service, Inc. (the nonprofit arm of Spokane Rotary Club 21), delivers fast, flexible financial support directly to those affected.

Every dollar you give goes straight to rapid, on-the-ground relief, helping families with immediate needs and supporting long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts in the months ahead.

Your donation today helps a neighbor start rebuilding tomorrow.
